About Myself

I'm an FAA ATP and EMB 550 type-rated pilot available for contract flying with extensive flight time. As a current EMB 550 instructor at FlightSafety International, I teach the airplane's systems, procedures, and abnormals every day—which means I bring standardized, checkride-level discipline to the flight deck. I'm a huge advocate for memory items AND checklists. Precision and procedural discipline are what keep operations safe, and I fly the way I teach: by the book, every leg.

Available for Part 91 and Part 135 contract assignments, recurrent support, and mentor flying for owner-operators transitioning into the Legacy 450/500 or Praetor 500/600. I also continue to offer Part 61 flight instruction, combining self-study, ground, and flight training for students working toward their ratings at their own pace and budget.

FAQs

It all begins with a base $250 Discovery Flight. Instructor fees are $70/hr. Once you're ready to start, FWFC (Fort Worth Flying Club) flying membership requires a one-time membership initiation fee of $300, and then regular dues of $115 (membership dues $75 and member insurance assessment $40) will begin on the first day of the subsequent month.

Billing for the instructor is completed after each lesson by Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, Paypal, or Credit Card which includes a 3.5% fee per charge. The aircraft is billed through the Fort Worth Flying Club online scheduler, Flight Circle. Dues are collected on the 1st of each month. Aircraft rental is paid for at the completion of each flight during check-in. All members must have a valid credit/debit card on file and set up for autopay. All payments must be made via a debit/credit card through Flight Circle and accrue a small service fee of 3.5%. ACH payments will be coming in the near future and will be processed without an added service fee.

Yes, FWFC requires renters to carry a non-owned renters insurance policy which carries a hull coverage of $10,000 to the non-owned aircraft. This insurance is primarily used in the case of hangar rash incidents while moving aircraft in and out of the hangar.

We use a system called Flight Circle which handles all the scheduling of the aircraft, as well as any maintenance squawks. Once you pay the fees, you'll be granted access to flight circle.

Go ahead and book a Discovery Flight today and we can answer any additional questions you may have. After the discovery flight, you may visit the FWFC page and submit a membership application to FWFC. If approved you will be given access to our online scheduler, Flight Circle. There, you can pay your initiation fee and reach out to a club instructors to schedule a checkout or other training needs.
